Dealing with Disappointment in Life and Ministry - Vlog #8

What do you do when life, circumstances, and ministry pursuits don't go the way you want them to? It's hard to sit in God's waiting room, wondering what He is going to do about the hard things we face all the time in life. We want to serve God, we want to be used by Him to help other people find Jesus or to change the world around us with Kingdom impact, but it often feels like God's not really using us in the way we desire to be used. We want him to heal our friends when they are battling cancer, we want our family members to accept Jesus before they die, we want to know that our service to Jesus matters. So, what is the solution to feeling blue as we face the disappointments of life and ministry? We run to the Word of God, we talk it out with God and ask Him to meet us in our despair and discouragement. As David says in Ps. 62:11-12, "One thing God has spoken, two things I have heard; Power belongs to you, God, and with you, Lord, is unfailing love; and you reward everyone according to what they have done."
